About IDInfo for Chrome

What is Chrome extension?

IDInfo for Chrome brings the resolver into your browser. Right-click any tab on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, GitHub, or LinkedIn and pick "Get IDInfo" — the extension replies with the numeric ID, profile picture, and a one-click copy button, all in a tiny popup.

It runs entirely on the active tab's public URL: no permissions over your browsing history, no telemetry, no account required. Compatible with Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, and any other Chromium-based browser.

Open any social profile

Browse to a Facebook page, an Instagram profile, an X account, a YouTube channel — anything supported.

Right-click → Get IDInfo

A small popup opens with the numeric ID, copy button, and a link to the full profile page on idinfo.ws.

Chrome extension — common questions

When will the Chrome extension be available?

We are finalising the Manifest V3 build and the Web Store review materials. There is no fixed launch date yet — follow the products page or our Telegram channel for updates.

Will it work in Microsoft Edge / Brave / Opera / Vivaldi?

Yes — the extension targets the standard Chromium extension API, so it will install in any Chromium-based browser. We will publish to the Edge add-ons store at the same time.
