About IDInfo for Firefox

What is Firefox add-on?

IDInfo for Firefox is the Mozilla-native build of our profile-ID resolver. It adds a small button to your toolbar — click it on any supported social-media tab and it resolves the page to its numeric ID, copies the value to your clipboard, and links you to the full profile page on idinfo.ws.

Built on the WebExtension API (Manifest V3) and currently awaiting review on Mozilla AMO. The add-on will be installable in one click from Firefox's official add-on store as soon as Mozilla's review completes.

A "Copy" button next to the resolved numeric ID lets you paste it anywhere in one tap.

IDInfo for Firefox has been submitted to Mozilla's Add-ons store (AMO) and is in their review queue. We will update this page the moment it goes live.

Click "Add to Firefox"

Once the listing is live on addons.mozilla.org, a single click installs the add-on — Firefox will show the permissions screen and you confirm.

Click the IDInfo icon

Visit any supported social profile and click the IDInfo toolbar icon — the popup shows the numeric ID, copy button, and a link to the full profile page on idinfo.ws.

When will IDInfo for Firefox launch?

The add-on is built and has been submitted to Mozilla AMO — we are waiting on their review. Review times vary from a few days to a few weeks. We will update this page the moment it is approved.

Will I be able to install it on Firefox for Android?

Yes — Firefox for Android supports a curated subset of WebExtensions. Once AMO publishes the listing, both desktop and Android versions of Firefox will install IDInfo from the same listing.

What data will the extension collect?

None. The extension only reads the URL of the active tab when you click its icon, sends it to idinfo.ws over HTTPS, and shows the resolved response. No background scripts, no analytics, no telemetry — the manifest declares zero data collection.

Can I use IDInfo right now without the add-on?

Yes — every feature of the upcoming Firefox add-on is already available on the website. Paste any profile URL on the home page and you will get the numeric ID in under a second.
