About IDInfo for Android

What is Android app?

IDInfo for Android is a lightweight share-target app. Hit "Share" on any profile link in Chrome, X, Instagram, or any other app and pick "IDInfo" from the share menu — a Material 3 bottom sheet pops up with the numeric ID, profile picture, and one-tap copy buttons.

Distributed via Google Play with optional sideload via APK and F-Droid. Works on Android 8 and later, follows your system theme, and supports the dynamic Material You colour palette.

When will the Android app launch?

It is the next product after the Telegram bot. Closed beta will open via Google Play Internal Testing first.

Will it work on Android Auto / Wear OS?

Not at launch. Wear OS is on the roadmap; Android Auto does not really have a use-case for profile-ID lookup.

Only INTERNET. No contacts, no storage, no location, no notifications.

Will the source be available?

Yes — the Android source will be published on github.com/idinfows shortly after the Google Play release.
